Euston Wind Farm Project Update
DP Energy Australia is excited to announce that we have received the Secretary’s Environmental Assessment Requirements (SEARs) from the NSW Planning Department for our proposed wind farm in the Euston area. This marks a significant milestone as we move from the initial scoping phases into the preparation of the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS).
Key Features of the Euston Wind Farm
The Euston Wind Farm will include the following:
- Approximately 100 wind turbines exporting power to the National Electricity Market (NEM)
- Associated infrastructure such as roads, drainage, cabling, and substations
- Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
- Associated construction facilities
- Operations and maintenance facilities
As we move into the EIS phase, we are diligently working with the NSW Government and relevant stakeholders to conduct all required technical assessments. These assessments will be integral to forming a comprehensive EIS as part of our application for Development Approval (DA).
